I require a 25%
non-refundable deposit when you order a pet portrait. I will
not require further payment until your portrait is complete
and you are satisfied. You will be able to watch the entire
process online while I create your portrait. The final portrait
will be delivered once I have received full payment.
You will be placed on my waiting
list when I have received your deposit. Updated waiting lists
will be available online, so you will know where you are in
the list at all times.
Depending on the number of orders that
I have, your artwork may take several months to complete; therefore,
I cannot guarantee that your portrait will be ready before a
certain date, but I promise to do my best to have it finished
if there is a special day that you need it by.
If
you would like a background or an additional pet added to your
portrait, there is an additional fee as this obviously takes
more time to create. This additional fee will be approximately
50% of the initial cost, but may vary depending on the complexity
of these added elements. A final price will be agreed on before
I start your portrait.
Once you have placed your order,
I will post my drawings here on the website as they progress,
so that you can watch the entire process to completion. This
way, if you would like anything changed, you can let me know
before it is finished.
Your artwork comes unframed so
that you may choose a mat and frame that matches your own
individual style.
When you commission a portrait,
you are granting me the license to use the artwork on my website
and for general promotion. This may include placing your image
in my brochure, or on any other printed matter that I may use
to promote my work.
I will not sell prints of your
commissioned portrait unless you have given me written consent,
in the form of a letter or email.
My prices can change at any time
without notice. Once we have agreed on a final price however,
it will be inal and will not be changed.
Shipping is not included in the
price of your portrait. I will inform you of this cost before
I start your portrait.
I accept payment through money
order or personal check. For local commissions, I will also
accept cash. I am unfortunately not set up for credit cards.
If you are ordering from outside the USA, we will discuss this
issue and work things out prior to starting your portrait.
