~ San Anselmo, CA. ~

This is San Anselmo in Marin County, California and the surrounding area where I live.

A beautiful little lake close to my home.

The giant California redwood trees grow along the coast of California and Oregon, and in no other place on earth! They reach up to 115.5 m (379.1 ft) in height and 7 m (23 ft) diameter at the base. They are known to live up to 2000 years!

San Francisco bay seen from the hills of Marin county, with Angel Island straight ahead and Oakland way back in the distance.

Stinson Beach, about a 30 minute drive from my home. Shark sightings are not uncommon, and Humpback whales can be seen migrating on a clear day.

Golden Gate Bridge, one of the most recognized landmarks in the world! This bridge spans Marin county to the north with San Francisco to the south.
